About Me
Hi! I’m Christephi: mother & wife and a hundred other hats that go with the territory. I stay home, do all the usual household chores; I sew; I knit; I crochet, etc. I love to read, but haven’t had as much time for it as I used to, not with two active kiddos in the house. I’m married to a wonderful man who loves his family and works hard so I can focus on making our home a peaceful refuge from the world.
I’m a Christian which is to say that I’m a sinner and I know it. I’ve been saved by the grace of God and do my best to please Him in my day to day life. I’m far from perfect and I don’t expect others to be perfect either, but I do strive to do what’s right based on the Word of God and hope to inspire those around me to do the same.
If you enjoy reading my blog, shoot me an e-mail and introduce yourself. I’d love to hear from you! Just write to me at christephi at christephi.com.

For the Easter Terno sleeve, how did you make the pattern? I need to make a Terno for a school project my daughter is doing and I am struggling with the sleeve…
I just made a trial run of the MOntmarte skirt #25 from 4/10. I made it out of cord before I too use the expensive velveteen. It seems rather heavy to me. Do you think I could take a little off the side seams and still have the same effect.? At first I was really confused as I cut the waistband rib once, but on the double layer of fabric which gave me two pieces. Finally the light when on and I realized I only needed one. I did not even bother with the elastic as it was plenty stretcy rib. Your sewing is beautiful – great inspiration! Jan
Oh dear, so many weeks later and I’m only now responding! If you take some off the side seams, you won’t have quite a circle for a skirt anymore, but it should still be a lovely skirt!
